Melissa has been sewing, designing and creating special occasion clothing for as long as she can remember, her childhood dolls were some of her very first clients!

She has specialised in Bridal and formal wear for almost years now as well as various other creative projects.

As well as dressmaking Melissa has also worked in bridal retail for six years. As a result she has helped hundreds of brides and their maids find dresses that suit both their style and their build- no mater how �hard to fit� they may be. Working in retail has given her an even broader understanding of what does and doesn�t suit different body shapes.

Many of Melissa�s clients are quite surprised at how affordable getting a custom made gown can be. Quite often when asked to copy a gown found in a store the total cost ends up been about the same as buying �off the rack�. This is a popular service as it gives the customer a chance to �tweek� aspects of the original design that are not quite right for them, with the opportunity to change things as they go along.
